My Love Affair with Panda Soy

Panda Soy by Crystal Palace is a soy/bamboo/nylon blend. Sadly it was recently discontinued but I bought a ton on sale. It launders well and is very soft and elastic and I plan to make myself many, many pairs of socks with it.

Here are the Soybean Socks (free pattern especially for Panda Soy) done in Panda Soy Solids in the Pewter color. I used size 1 dpns and added two extra pattern repeats to make the cuff longer.

These look loose because they were wet during the photo shoot but they fit perfectly and I'll wear them often.

I thought DH should share in the joy of Panda Soy socks so I made him some as well. He doesn't like thin socks so I doubled some Panda Soy Print in the Hazelnut colorway. I used 56 sts and size 3 (US) dpns and I used a little less than 4 skeins.

I'm finishing up a pair of fingerless mitts in alpaca and then February is all about finishing up various unfinished projects.
