Please let me know if you can view this video of the cast on I use for two-color/corrugated ribbing. I think I'll call it Twisted German Cast On - Thumb Variation. Sorry it is so dark - I'll do the videos outside in the future.

Yes, the video is up now for sure :) Another way to avoid the second color from showing in the first row is knitting all the stitches on the first row instead of purling. After you have the colors in place then you can start to purl. I believe I read this in "Principles of Knitting" and have used it ever since. That way you can use the knit-on cast on, knit the first row with both colors and start purling for the ribbing on the second row.
yep, video is working.
Yes, I can see it OK.
I cannot see the video through Bloglines, but when I click to your actual site, then I *can* see it.
Thanks Laritza for that good idea! I've done the first few rows in solid color ribbing and I've also heard you can just purl the first row before beginning two-color ribbing but I haven't tried that one.
Thanks KV! I hope to do more videos soon.
Thanks Pearlyqueen! I had to figure out the software but I'm glad everyone can see it.
Thanks Deborah! I'll put that info on the next video I post.
